Blessed Beauty

The effectiveness of teeth whitening differs from one person to another, making it impossible to predict the exact number of shades that will lighten. Each individual's whitening process is unique, with some requiring multiple sessions and others achieving satisfactory results with a single session. Proper aftercare and ongoing teeth maintenance play a crucial role in maintaining the longevity of the results. Sensitivity: Some people will feel sensitivity not in all cases but it is a possibility. You can take anything for a headache if it occurs later in the day. Aftercare: Longevity is largely dependent on maintaining proper hygiene practices. It is advisable to replace toothpaste and mouthwash with whitening products for optimal results. Process: I’m going to give you a little rundown of the whole teeth whitening process. I start off by instructing you on how to place the cheek retractor, or silicone mouth opener in your mouth, we then move on to an oral brush up, which is a cleaning teeth wipe. After we dry teeth with a cotton roll once done place cotton roll on each side of mouth that will help with your saliva. To safeguard your eyes from the light, I will provide you with protective goggles. We will initiate the process as you lie back. Prep: I take gum protection seriously by applying a barrier that starts as a gel and hardens with light exposure. Since peroxide is involved, safeguarding the gums is important. Swallowing during treatment is crucial for optimal results, as the serum's potency may be reduced if mixed with saliva. What may also occur if not swallowing is that the barrier can lift, causing irritation to the gums. If this occurs, vitamin E oil will be applied to resolve the issue within 5-15 minutes. I will now proceed with applying the serum, which will be administered in three 20-minute sessions, with reapplication as needed. For 24-48 hours following teeth whitening treatment, it is recommended to follow a white diet, avoiding pigmented foods and drinks. It is also advisable to avoid consuming extremely hot or cold substances, which may cause sensitivity. Instead, choose room temperature options. The whitening process will persist for the next 2 days as we open the pores in your teeth, emphasizing the importance of complying with the white diet. Touch ups are recommended a month after your Teeth Whitening session. Results last up to 6 months to 1 year, depending on your daily lifestyle and dental hygiene. Teeth whitening services may cause sensitivity for 1-2 days after treatment. To maintain your desired shade, I recommend touch-ups every 3 months. Pregnant or nursing women may not receive whitening treatments. Minors can receive services at age 13, accompanied by an adult, with a consent form. If you miss your first touch-up session, the price will remain the original price.
